Denise Morris is the Managing Director and CEO of Liberia Discoveries Enterprise (LDE); a visionary entrepreneur with a deep passion for her home country, Liberia. Denise’s career journey began in the corporate world with Orange Liberia. Her desire to make a transformative impact on Liberia’s tourism industry led her to make a bold decision—leaving her corporate job to pursue a master’s degree in tourism management. Her academic focus on sustainable tourism strategies, reflected in her thesis titled “Green Innovation Strategy, Green Innovation Performance: Evidence from Liberia”, showcased her dedication to bringing global tourism practices back to her country.

Under Denise’s leadership, Liberia Discoveries Enterprise has become more than just a tourism company. It is a catalyst for social, economic, and environmental sustainability in Liberia. Looking ahead, Denise plans to scale LDE’s operations across Liberia, particularly in rural areas, while deepening the company’s commitment to renewable energy development and environmental sustainability.
